Dearborn Station (also referred to as Polk Street Station) was the oldest of the six intercity train stations serving downtown Chicago, Illinois. It currently serves as office retail and entertainment space.

By the date of this photo this train was a Norfolk and Western Railway daily train from Chicago to Saint Louis, departing Dearborn Street Station at 4: 15 PM. It has only 12 stops between Chicago and Saint Louis, one of which was at the station at 47th Street, just out of the photo to the left.
